Development camp should be exactly that trying to develop players.
And you can't get to know all these guys over, over the course of a week.
If there's two teams of like 20 players and there's all these extras, you don't know every, you can't like, you can't possibly get to know what they're like on the ice, what they're like off the ice.
So I love, like, I love, I'm so passionate about this.
I love the fact that it's a smaller group.
And they're not making them play meaningful games against each other.
You do the small area stuff.
You pinpoint some areas of weakness, some areas of strength.
Give them the tools and the plan to maybe overcome certain things or better themselves at certain things.
And you follow them play in their leagues individually.
when they play when they're ready to play the games because you're just asking for problems if you're making these guys do this stuff in july and having them go out and hit and guys are going to want to fight it just it makes no sense so this is the way to do development camps and when i was in that organization this is pretty much how we did it when when the gillis administration was in there it was a really hard workout in the morning
Then it was like a skills session with, you know, like some skating technique and stuff.
And then it was an activity out on the town.
Stanley Park, Pitch and Pot, you know, was it Dragon Boating in False Creek?
Like all these kinds of things that are fun.
But at the same time, we had our work done in the morning.
I just, I, obviously you heard the passion come through there, but I was very passionate about that, that whole philosophy.
Okay, so I've seen a lot of Rogowski.
Followed him playing for Team USA at the under-18 level and then saw him play a lot with the Oshawa Generals because they were in the OHL final, not this year, but last year.
So listen, huge body, skates pretty well, and has some tools.
