They'll grieve hard forever.

But also, they were so anxious about the thought that the man who took the life of their daughter and their two granddaughters could potentially be out any time.

They just didn't feel that the sentence he was handed down met the crime.

So we explored, through that story, we explored whether we should look at setting minimum tariffs, whether life should really mean life in Ireland.

Yeah, yeah.

I see a great sense in doing that.

So in a long-winded roundabout way, to answer your question, it doesn't sit well with me when cases are brought up for no other reason than to almost glorify them or to add more infamy to the killer.

Because more often than not, the killer is remembered more than the victim.

So I'd like to think that my work is very victim-focused and yours too.

You know, never losing sight of the victim is really important.

I remember

once been asked what my favourite murder was.

You know, like, and like, I was absolutely floored by that question.

It's like, they are all devastating.

There is no such thing.

But I think, and the Belfast rape trial is another one where you had people busing up from all around the country to sit through the trial because unlike in Dublin, rape trials up there, they're not held in camera.

The public could go in and watch proceedings day to day.

And people were giddy talking about the evidence afterwards.

And it was almost like, it was almost like theatre.
