Your energy changes, strength changes, ch confidence changes, your identity can feel shaken.
That's what happened to me.
That's why gentle, safe strength matters.
I'm not talking about pushing yourself into exhaustion.
I'm talking about reminding your body one careful movement at a time
that you're still here, you're still capable, and you're still rebuilding.
That might be a short walk, that might be five careful squats to a chair, that might be a wall push ups.
They might be standing tall, breathing deeply, and taking one lap around the block.
The goal is not to prove anything, the goal is to rebuild trust with your body.
If you're a man going through prostate cancer treatment or if you're rebuilding after ADT, radiation surgery, or another part of the journey, I created a free resource for you that's called The Five Things No One Tells Men About Staying Strong During Prostate Cancer Treatment.
You can download it at walking for health and fitness dot com slash strong during treatment.
And remember
Always talk with your doctor before changing or beginning an exercise routine during treatment or recovery.
But don't forget this, small strength is still strength.
And every step forward counts.
Now, if this episode helped you, please subscribe to the podcast, like the video if you're watching on YouTube, and share it with someone who wants to get stronger but doesn't want to go to a gym.
And make sure you check out the show notes.
I've included the link to walking inspiration so you can bring daily motivation and reflection to your walks.
I'll also include the link to my fitness walking experience, walk with Frank Sample.
So you can begin combining walking and simple bodyweight exercises in a structured way.
