they're probably not going to be able to keep a Middleton or Brodine or someone that could provide you some veteran support and see if you can make your team better right now and for the future.
That's the way I'd be looking at it if I'm Detroit, saying, I think there's a ready, willing partner here in the Minnesota Wild, and they're one of the teams on the list.
Why not make this a really attractive play for both sides?
