You talk about culture.
He's a really, really well-liked individual and someone that I believe has properly set the tone for exactly what
they seem to be talking about at their introductory press conference.
So I think you're going to need him as one of your leaders moving forward if you're trying to reestablish that culture.
Well, look, all signs point to Manny Malhotra being the top candidate.

He didn't try and steer us off of it.
He mentioned Manny as the internal candidate that they obviously have to take seriously.
My question is, did something precipitate this?

Um, did someone else did the Toronto Maple Leafs, for instance, ask for permission to speak to Manny Melhotra, which then pressed them to say, well, Hey, we've got a decision to make here.
Either we're letting him walk and go explore this opportunity, or we're going to step up and make sure that we keep him.
Uh, that is one question.
Uh, but one statement that I think that was really important that was made yesterday without saying anything.
Is the fact that they were willing to move on from Adam foot and all of his assistants and clean house.
There's been lots of questions about how the Vancouver Canucks will approach this rebuild from a resources perspective.
That was a really positive sign because there was lots of talk about, Hey, they're not spending a ton on this general manager.
