Much like any other rookie, kinda just trying to find his way.

And as long as he runs crispy routes, as long as he has the connection with the quarterbacks, uh, they want to know how fast of a learner he is.

Like there's a lot that goes into it.

He hasn't seen a ton of blitz packages that's gonna require him to make adjustments from routes and hot sites, all these different things.

So it's still some ways to go.

And

that's that's sort of what separates those guys.

Obviously you have to be reliable in terms of catching the ball.

But are you gonna be able to communicate and be on the same page with the quarterback, not just in preseason, but when things kind of uh crank up a little bit here.

Uh so the I guess the the the

they're still gonna watch him and just see how he continues to develop.

But, you know, it's still early, still preseason, uh, but they do wanna know that he knows his play book well, how often he communicates well with the quarterbacks and if he's a playmaker at the end of the day.

You know, um, obviously you said Brian Thomas with the Y.

Yeah, I mean, because I know the Brian Thomas on the other side and it will be something to have two Brian Thomases on the team.

So I'll just go with Brian Thomas.

Just just looking at how he played uh uh last week and then this week coming back, the the

Tony loves him, if that's okay to say.

again, um, you know, after having Coach Cohen on our on our podcast, one thing that stood out to me was he said a consistency is the truest measure of performance.

You know, you can be this way one week and that way one week, but as long as you have the same motor and energy on film and throughout these practices, every rep if you treat it the same, it's bigger than making because you're not gonna make a play every

single game.
