Don't give us these buzzwords.
I guess you have to do it when you get a new squad and you get buy-in from everyone.
You've got to have these buzzwords up on the whiteboard and everything, but it really just gives me the heebie-jeebies because we heard a lot of that sort of talk from the old coaching regime.
And that really was like, you're not straight shooters.
These guys are straight shooters, so why not just say it as it is rather than using these buzzwords.
But anyway, not kicking is great.
I think we all enjoyed that, and that's why we were entertained.
Our defence on the fringes was just...
awful and that first try we let in from the set piece was terrible as well with our best defender and Geordie Barrett being sucked in and they just waltzed over the line didn't they so it was the worst possible start to a test match with Ruben Love getting sent off and where every tackle we made seemed to be a high tackle so
plenty to work on defensively massively that was the huge concern and it has been a concern for years but maybe it's the trend in test rugby now we see massive scores don't we see you just if they score four you score five and you win the game so maybe that's the future of the game but I'm old school I want goal line defense I want to send them back phase after phase you know earn it that
That's how you get the aura back in the All Blacks, I reckon, not through running and scoring a million tries.
It's from defending your own line.
Ruben Love, kicking game has still got a massive question on it.
His running game is unmatched.
He's like watching Dan Carter in his prime or Bowden Barrett, you know, 10 years ago, how good he was at taking on the line at first five.
So a bit to work on our kicking game and selections, yeah, were very strange, weren't they?
Even though the loose forward trio seemed to work pretty well, I still think they're all...
playing out of position, and I think we'll see some newbies even more this week against Italy with some more debutants.
We did see signs that we were able to change our tactics.
I thought we did more pick and goes on Saturday night than we did under the Razor era.
