But there are plenty of places where we're not more secular.

I believe the Catholic Church, at least in some parts of the United States, was not terribly in favour of this.

Maybe it's not that radical.

Yeah.

As we've been talking, it strikes me that maybe the radical component of this idea is really in confronting death and how we do that, how we talk about death in a more open way than perhaps we usually conventionally do in the West.
