I came close to buying the Ice House recently.

Very close.

Came really close to it, and unfortunately, it just did not pan out.

The owner, Johnny Buss, from the Buss family, the Lakers, we had worked something out where it's like, okay, this is what they want.

I agreed to it.

I came up in the conversation because it was two people or companies in the running.

It was this company.

I want to say it's a stand-up something in New York.

Out here.

There's a club that's got a chain.

Something stand-up.

New York Comedy Club?

So there was a club out here that was in the running for it, and then they approached me because they knew I had a history with the club, and they figured where I'm at right now, it might make sense.

Because they know I'll take care of it.

I'll continue the legacy.

I'll make sure that I cherish it and take good care of it because that's where I started.

And once we agreed on it, everything was all set.

We're supposed to take a meeting.

And what happens?

They sell the Lakers for $9 billion.
