Um my dad tells a lovely story about uh he was in
Spain or somewhere and he had this olive oil and he came home to try and buy olive oil and the only place he could get it was in the chemist.
They could give it uh they used to give it to people if you had an ear infection.
They tell you to put in a little bit of olive oil and he bought a little small bottle of oil olive oil.
Now he w his job he done a bit of travelling so um but he and I I keep so I was like, Is that true?
Is that you're just telling me that 'cause it's uh and he goes, No, no, it's true.
He was like you know, he'd eaten some dish somewhere and he'd had some olive oil and he's like, Oh I got some olive oil, put on pasta or whatever.
Um and now when you walk into whatever supermarket because it's wall full of all weeks.
So um
we we share recipes on here all the time and we're constantly talking about that, you know, like and it's like when you get an a a young chef of an apprentice or a comedy that's coming in, you have to actually learn how to taste.
I think it's a total myth that you often hear, Oh, that chef has an amazing palette, like was he born with that?
And I'm like, No.
Like that's something that's been trained, developed, taught and it's exactly the same for whether you're
French cuisine, Italian cuisine.
