And what do you know?
They come – the roads to those places come together at Gettysburg and eight other roads together.
come in and out of Gettysburg.
And it's perfectly documentable.
The Schumann didn't even start until, you know, a decade and a half or two after the Civil War.
Nobody ever talked about it before then.
So it is absolutely the roads and they bumped into each other and it grew into this largest engagement ever fought on American soil.

And I imagine that had a lot to do with it becoming the county seat as well in maybe 1801.

But, I mean, the soldiers are marching from what we would call Northern Virginia, but looks like Central Virginia to me, through Virginia, through Maryland, and into Pennsylvania.
They're walking.
It's not like there's a train taking them up there.
And, yes, every moment is tense.
You know, the Confederates are going to execute a ride around Virginia.
