recognize a a driver's requirement, driver's need, and your your team should then be trying to exploit that and try to get the best out of it.
And yes the driver might need to change a little bit as to how he drives the car.
And an example of that was Lewis Hamilton with the ground effect cars.
He was never at home with those cars.
Um but what was the difference in those cars?
They were there were cars that were running very stiff, low, lots and lots of grip
Um to be honest, you'd have said Lewis Hamilton should have should have taken like that to a to you know baby to the bathwater.
It was just you know, it was it was a perfect example of what he should be as a good racing driver.
But you were driving something where there was less feel.
You just had to have confidence that the car would do what it was being told to do.
Um but it didn't give you any feel
feedback worth talking about.
So, you know, you had to drive it sort of basically blind.
And that and we saw Max Verstappen through the through the uh the ground effect era he was very, very good.
Again, he wasn't using that feedback.
And I suppose that could come from the man of sim racing he does as well, because you don't get any feedback from a simulator, uh you know, from sim racing as such.
You know, you're sitting there, you get you get
A little bit of feedback depending upon the the the the the machines you're using.
But at the end of the day you get very little feedback relative to what a racing car gives you.
So you know, Max is potentially driving a racing car without needing the feedback to tell him that he can go faster.
