So yeah, I don't think I would panic.
I think I'd be pretty happy that we're they're in a a competitive pit situation right now and they've got a step to take, whereas the others maybe don't have that step to take.
Yeah, I mean active arrow is a is a strange thing.
Um, I suppose you you gotta look at it and you say, right, what you want is the maximum down force possible when the rear wing's shut and the minimum drag possible when the rear wing is open.
How you go about that rear wing opening and stuff is you know, obviously there's different solutions to different teams.
And um the you know, the the H wing as as McLaren are calling it.
you know, flips the the the flap upside down.
As far as I know it flips it upside down, sort of going forward in reality.
The the the problem is whenever you've got the flap upside down, it's how the flow attaches while it's closing again because you've got a situation where the flow is actually going the wrong direction on what would be the underside of the flap because it's upside down and the
Trailing edges facing forward for a while.
And when you close it, that means that the the wing is theoretically.
overworking and as it shuts the slot gap down to the main plane, then you want that flow to attach to the main plane and the flap and give you the stability uh of down force.
And you need that to happen instantaneously because it happens whenever you hit the brake pedal.
So if you hit the brake pedal, you know these cars travel the brake for maybe a second and a half and straight at Monza.
You know, the brake from like a hundred meters
And uh in a second and a half down from 340-350 K's down to 80 K's or something like that.
So the the braking is instantaneous, and the thing about the braking is the best braking you can do is to hit the brake pedal flat out.
The higher the speed, the more the down force you got in the car.
So you hit the brake pedal as hard as you can, and then you try to get your foot off the brake pedal, ease it up as you get closer to the
So you need that rear wing to attach
