The the cars themselves lose, you know, I don't know what it is, twenty, thirty, forty percent of the down force.

But they lose the balance whenever they get beh within a second of the car in front of them.

So unless you can make that overtaken maneuver

happen, you know, within one maybe two laps.

You've overheated your tires, you've lost another ten percent of the grip.

So you're you're you're a passenger really.

You've gone from driving a

a McLaren or Mercedes or whatever, a Ferrari, to drive in a a Cadillac or a Aston Martin or a or whatever, a Williams, you know, like

in two lapse time, that's the problem you have.

So at the end of the day it's it's it's not just one thing.

There's a huge amount of things that c contribute towards this lack of overtaking and lack of spectacle.

So it needs a very deep dive before you can come up with a solution.

A very, very deep dive.

Well I think the first thing that any team is looking for is a driver that's fast.

Um they want a driver that's that's got speed.

And they're not too worried about him falling off the road a few times here and there because you can tame a fast driver, but you can't make a slow driver fast.

It's really difficult.

So the first thing you look at is the actual performance of a given driver.

But you never really know his requirement.

I suppose until he's actually driving your car for your team and you understand your car and you understand its capabilities.
