I wasn't present for a lot of that timeframe in my life.
And a lot of things went really wrong.
I had a divorce.
I had a bankruptcy.
I had several failed partnerships.
I had several failed businesses.
And I always...
felt like the victim.
I was like, man, I have a really shitty partner.
Man, I just picked the wrong spouse.
You know, we grew apart.
I got really screwed in this deal.
I can't believe that I, you know, hired that manager.
He's a terrible manager.
And I do remember the day where I was just sitting in silence and just kind of
exhausted.
And, and I realized that I was exactly where I was in my life because of the sum of all my own choices.
And I had no self help motivational guru helped me get there.
This was just this sort of really internal realization, started to tap back into my faith a little bit.
