It's just, I mean, that's just guff, obviously, you know, it's just corporate PR guff.
But it is also indicative of Manchester United, you know, still post-Ferguson, they really haven't figured out what they are or what they're trying to do or be or any sense of direction.
And they naturally, having had such a, you know,
a successful emperor for so long.
You know, they've really struggled in the fallout to cling to something.
This was the belief in David Moyes with Moyes work because, hey, he's Scottish.
And then they've lurched from one messiah to the other and having, you know, having realized that, you know, seemingly the old style
overarching, all-powerful manager in the mold of Ferguson no longer works, having tried it with Moyes and tried it with Mourinho, even Van Gaal to an extent.
Now they're going to try and, like you say, trust the process.
We'll find our messiah, we'll find our golden compass within the banal brushed aluminium language of corporate guff.
And sadly, that's not going to work.
I don't know how he can continue this plan if he can't split the UEFA coalition because the World Cup has almost zero commercial potential without European teams added.
I mean, it ceases to be the World Cup and that is FIFA's cash cow.
That's their jewel in the crown.
