And that's, you know, we want to put on something affordable for, for people that can, you know, it can come out because it's not a thousand dollar weekend anymore for everybody.
It's like, man, people don't have that kind of money to spend on going to big gigs.
And, you know, the, the international market's obviously very saturated too.
So we're competing with that obviously in, um,
But we know we can hold up against that stuff, especially going back to kind of grassroots style of festival.
Yeah, that's definitely the idea, for sure.
And starting with, you know, it's kind of taking, you know, Aotearoa music to the world.
That's the idea as well.
You know, we'd love to see something like this go off in Hawaii.
anywhere else in the world where we can take New Zealand music.
Yeah, well, look, I'll keep making the music and I'll let the other people sort that part out, but in regards to the festival, it's kind of starting with the New Zealand line-up, and obviously from an artist's perspective too, you know, bringing in bands like the Elevators and
who are coming from California to play the festival.
It's introducing listeners and challenging them with new types of music as well, which is really exciting.
This was an inaugural flight of a certain airplane called Air Force One after 37 years.
And it's a great plane, and we had a lot of fun with Doug and everybody coming over.
