One forensic psychiatrist said this in terms of his recommendation for this gentleman's state of mind, and another forensic psychiatrist said something completely opposite.

So we need to have something objective that a court can rely on.

But I suppose in your situation that you can write that according to the DSM or according to the ICD, this is fulfilled, but you can still have something in there about the natural uncertainty of the system.

You know, I just, I would love us to be able to move away from this idea that, and I think we will move away through the 2020s and into the 2030s, away from this blind end that the 1990s took us down, that it's all to do with neurochemistry.

And if somebody's behavior is wild,

then it's to do, or difficult, or upsetting, then it's because their brain chemicals are in some way awry.

And it's just rubbish.

You know, it took us down a wrong avenue for far too many decades, when actually all these things are relational, social, it's all to do with the whole context in which these kids are living.

And part of it may be to do with social media, but it's to do with the precarious employment their parents have got.
