It's to do with their housing situation.

difficult schools that they're in and the social context they're forced into that they're not happy with.

You know, it's so complicated.

And so how does the NHS cope with that?

I think by continually speaking back to power and saying, this is not just a clinical problem.

This is a social problem.

And you have to take some responsibility rather than medicalizing it and saying, it's just a clinical problem.

It's actually a problem with the whole of society.

So that's how I would keep pushing back against that idea.

Oh, and the anxious generation, you were talking about celebrities.

There's a great case of Michelle Obama tweeted or wrote somewhere about her severe PTSD from an experience that she had, which really caught me because she may well have PTSD.

But again, it's this language, severe PTSD, like all PTSD is severe.

Or it's not PTSD.

So the sort of normalization of this language, I think, is really, really unhelpful.

And although it is a shorthand, and when people are trying to do things in 140 characters, when Twitter was still a thing, of course, they were reaching for this concise definitions.

But it's really, really unhelpful.

So I would like to find a way.

And I'm a writer and a GP.

So this book is my way of trying to push back against this wave
