Um, you know, whether we're gonna get anything leading from Kevin Walsh.
I mean, markets are hanging on this.
Uh yeah, I I imagine th this is a guy that's that's already said that I'm not going to give an awful lot of guidance.
Um, you know, it's for markets to do the price discovery and we're all gonna follow the market.
And so I I expect he'll come out again.
He set his stall out last week very firmly on, you know, we're not
Taking any uh any risks with inflation.
Um, we saw from you know things like the micron results last week, very strong results.
And what was the line from the CEO?
There is no line of sight where supply of memory chips catches up with demand.
I mean, that's strength, it's inflation, you know.
And uh, you know, I think uh Kevin Walsh has gone out uh to set that message.
message, there's an active debate in the market about whether that means, you know, that that the market will do some of the move for them.
And actually the Fed can just sit and pause.
Um but there's there's also, you know, a growing number of people that are thinking, nope, the Fed is going to see this off, it's going to head this off.
There's no tolerance for this.
And you know, go back from the comments from US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant last week about uh, you know, every confidence that uh Kevin Walsh will will
deal with inflation that the president is very clear about the independence of a central bank.
Uh and uh, you know, uh uh comments which some people saw as a green light to uh a hike if if needed.
So uh, you know, that and that's where we find ourselves.
