The control group, the one that we'll look at for, you know, the best uh the best uh guide to GDP up point seven uh versus a.4 forecast.
This followed stronger numbers, you know, a pretty decent set of numbers, I should say, in April.
Around a third of the rise is due to
high gasoline prices, the take-ins at uh uh uh service stations.
Um you can also argue that uh actually there was a a notable rise on online sales.
You know, perhaps that's not unexpected, people saying, well I'm not gonna drive to the to the store, I'm gonna I'm gonna do it online because it's too expensive if I drive the car.
And then but even said that, you know, core numbers are strong and it suggests that that uh that that tax cut is still worth
Working through for some for some households.
Um, of course that won't be there forever, so we've got to see how that goes.
But for the moment, a strong set of numbers.
