So in this town it's ironic because, you know, I would think most of Nashville is better at guitar than me, but yet I found a way to use my guitar to, with my ideas and with my, my vocal melodies that rises above so much quality just by the nature of his alchemy.

And that's what I find exciting.
And I think is invigorating, especially for people who are forging their own way, is that you just never know.
You just never know what your alchemy, your own personal combination of things is going to elicit.
You don't know.
You don't know what the opportunities are.
And I have young boys now, you know, young teenagers, whatever, or older teenagers, whatever.
17, 19, who are now going into life.
It's a wild time because it's all very well and good.
I mean, I've got a 12-year-old who's an amazing boy and everyone loves him, but there's no perspective because he's just a kid.
What's interesting is when you have kids and then they sort of go out into the world,
independent of you and you sort of you see what they're like you know how tenacious they are how driven they are what they're fascinated by other people's impressions of them you know because you know the worst thing any parent can do i think is this is having an unlikable kid
You have an unlikable kid, that's an unlikable adult.
That's a person who's going to struggle immensely in life, you know, if you're not likable to some degree.
And so I just kept an eye on that.
