And it just creates this sort of amazing kind of throbbing mass of confusion and, um,

you know, words that mental furniture and things that go together or don't normally go together and fed my words, you know, fed into the Bowie thing that I liked, which is the, which was Burroughs cut up technique.

So all of that, but the way that Bukowski wrote just made my heart sad, you know?

So I wanted to find ways to create that same effect.

Yeah, I didn't want someone to be like, yo, we can pay you properly.

And then I'd have to be like, music, you know, whatever.

You know, I just made sure I never had the option.

And I, I had nothing.

And as you know, and I went, it was a weird time.

Um, and it's so brilliant to look back and then reflect on that time as a, as a young person trying to just follow their heart.

I just couldn't quit.

And then I'd gone on so long of singing, you know, like five, six, seven years where I was just like, it was like, oh, poor guy's still trying to sing.

You know, and, but I didn't know anything else, what I could, didn't have any idea what else to do.

And that's the best thing about life and the greatest lesson to ever impart on anyone is this whole thing of,

You never know.

And people ask me, someone asked me yesterday in the car park I was hanging out with after the show, what advice would you give me?

I'm a young musician.

I'm an artist.
