But when I looked at those kind of bands, whether it was Sabbath or Aerosmith particularly, they were so enjoyable, but his voice was so otherworldly that I was like...

I never, how can I ever do that?

And Axl came out in Guns N' Roses.

But going back specifically to Surfer Rosa, it showed me that you could go into a post-punk world.

Because I grew up on punk music.

And what could I do that still have the expression?

I mean, it's probably Surfer Rosa, the Pixies.

The sound of that, the style, the quirkiness of it, the quiet, loud thing.
