And it was like two bands.
And then she goes, oh, I'm going to get this band Circus, Circus, Circus to play at my birthday.
I thought it was so mean.
It stayed with me forever because they're signed.
It's like, ah, they're signed.
Of course they're signed.
That was the greatest thing.
We weren't even smart enough to consider what that entailed.
What did that mean?
I mean, the beginning of your career and you're still pushed around and you don't get... Records don't come out.
But just the idea of being... It was so over.
It was like the Berlin Wall.
It was like the other side.
You know, we were like in East Germany just trying to just get signed.
And so it was like this band...
they're signed.
It's kind of all we wanted to be.
It's just brilliant.
