I love Sonic Youth.

I just like chaos.

I came from chaos.

I came from disorder.

So I wanted to do music that had elements of disorder in it and chaos and everything was sort of on fire.

And, you know, it was just as much fun to break something as it was to play it.

Yeah, that was ironic, but that was super ironic because those songs were written in such an innocence of, with an imagined ceiling on our heads.

I didn't have any, I was not smart enough.

I was still not smart enough to consider what the potential was.

I just wanted to sort of do something cool and interesting and be someone that everyone knew when I walked into the club.

You know, that's really basic kid stuff.

I remember going out and be like, if you saw someone either who's from a record company, you'd be like side-eyeing them.

Changed my life.

If only he knew how fucking talented I am, but they never found out.

And I never asked me and they never signed me.
