And we're kind of like a real microcosm.

We've got people who love all of those things.

We certainly don't have...

the as extensive a politics section as you might find in other bookstores in the area but we we hold our own and we're also really finding and i think this is a bit of a trend right now is that people are looking for escape either they want to be entertained or they want to feel something or they want to just go to a different era a different part of history they want to get away from where we are right now and frankly the the politics books don't always do that politics

is a little bit of a reminder of where we are.

So right now, that's a little bit of what we're seeing.

And of course, the pendulum may swing back towards nonfiction in the coming months and years.

But we pay a real lot of attention of what people are asking for.

And we reorder books based on what people have bought

And of course, there's going to be bestsellers and independent bookstore sellers that you will find in Boston or Colorado.

And we'll have those two.

But we have a very distinctive mix based on the very distinctive mix of people who live in Bethesda.

Yeah, we're getting, I mean, I think we're probably at over 800 dogs at this point.

Yeah.

Sometimes I worry that I'm actually nicer to the dogs that come in than I am to the human customers because I just am so happy to see them all the time.

And my face lights up and I just like I just I love when they come in.

I'd say we have a very robust events calendar.

We're taking a little bit of a pause right now for the second half of the summer, but once September rolls around, we usually have two to three events a week in addition to, I think it's seven or eight book clubs at this point.

So there's just always something going on that people can join.

The book clubs are great.
