And it was just enough to get a kid that, you know, felt so worried because I knew at that point, at that moment, sitting too much back in his worry, acknowledging his worry would have probably done him a disservice at that point when he had to just get out of the car and do his thing.

So coming back to your question, was that the right thing to say?

You beautifully said, yes, that makes sense to feel worried and I'm not worried.

And I think that's perfect.

And I would want parents to know we don't have to get this right.

And in fact, you could have said there's nothing to worry about.

And then you could have paused or even later when she kept bringing it up, gone, you know, mommy said there's nothing to worry about.

And I'm sorry, I got that wrong.
