So I kind of keep an eye on them from afar.

and it's been so long since they've had a team to cheer for that this year seems like a year that they've got some guys that are rallying around each other.

You know, Murakami is amazing to watch how he leans back on everything and, you know, trying to hit bombs every swing, and I think Will Venable's got them pushing in the right direction, and I also have an ex-teammate that's in the front office in Josh Barfield, so, you know, I like keeping an eye on those guys and keeping up with them, but it's fun when the south side is doing something that you have to look at.

They're a very cerebral family when it comes to baseball.

And I had a chance to play with Josh in San Diego.

He was the second base.

I was playing shortstop, so I got to know him really well.

But he's got a great eye for the game.

He's got a great eye for talent.

And I think what's great about what the White Sox are doing now with the current system that they have is they have a real vision for who they want this organization to be.

They want to get those guys that are going to get the –

dig their toes into the dirt and push a little bit harder, maybe play a little bit grittier.

And Josh understands how hard this game is and what it takes to be able to go out there and win.

And now he's starting to get some guys on the field that are helping Will Venable do that.

I agree with you in the sense that you go through these 162-game seasons, and a lot of it depends on when you catch these teams, what part of the rotation you're facing.
