In order to get to where you want to be, you've got to make some tough decisions.

And we're heading into an offseason that's going to see the CBA be talked about.

There's the potential for a lockout or a strike coming up next season.

So, you know, you've got to take that into account as well.

If we only play 100-game season next year, would it be worth trading some of your superstars to recoup some talent for maybe 28 or 29?

It's kind of crazy to think that far ahead, though.

No, it is in jeopardy, and it's crazy to think that a guy like Jordan is being talked about, not just in the sense of the caliber of player he is, but also the contract being so team-friendly for the Astros, and it would take a remarkable return to even think about having the conversation.

But, you know, selfishly sitting in the booth and calling these games and having watched Jordan since 2019, I selfishly, if they trade him, I might break down and have to get the tissue box.

Well, I think it's fascinating.

And I know that when I hit the home run in 2005, there were probably a lot of people that were like, who the heck is this guy?

How the heck did he hit that home run?

And lo and behold, maybe it's a little divine intervention that snuck in there and gave me the opportunity to hit that out.

But I mean, it's amazing how the story's unfolded.

And I tell you what, I can't enjoy it enough.

The fact that Pope Leo is holding up a 14 Conurco jersey with the autograph on it and the connection to that 05 World Series kind of tells you how special that year was and how amazing it is.

And any time we can continue to bring up that 05 team, I am more than happy to do it.

I think it's amazing and probably long overdue if I'm being totally honest.

I'm not sure what took so long.

I know that he's a polarizing figure in the game of baseball, but he's also one of the purest baseball people that I know.

Everything he's done has been with his team in mind.
