doesn't have enough parks.
Well, yeah, L.A.
doesn't have enough parks because somebody killed off an Olmsted Brothers plan that was this brilliant idea.
concept for the city.
And it's a huge city to have more parks.
And, uh, just like we killed off, uh, uh, our red line, that was a subway.
Now we're spending unbelievable amounts of money to have a subway.
So there are layers to this that, that he brought in, um, that, that were unfair to the golf clubs or in the country clubs.
And then of course, um, totally ignored the green space component.
And I get that golf has always had this,
perception of being a big toxic waste dump.
And they still use chemicals.
There's still things that aren't great.
But my God, it's the change is incredible.
And the importance of having those green spaces is vital if you, you know, like anything, birds are just just oxygen.
And so there's that.
But then, of course, there is the component where the
you know, the nonprofit clubs in the city of LA pay a combined $880,000 or so in taxes.
And that's not enough given that they are, you know, they rely on a lot of resources as well.
So it's a mess.
