uh during uh this time of year and uh it was just fantastic because you really they also pushed the rough line or the rope line back on the right so that the rough had meaning on the trees which i'm not a huge advocate of that kind of thing but it really is great because uh

it brought the Barranca that intersects the hole halfway, bisects the hole.

And it's at a beautiful little angle the way it sits.

So you can get over on the right.

And many, many times back in the old days of different equipment, that was, what do you do?

Do you get over the Barranca in two or do you lay up and then have a wood into the green?

And we saw that restored.

It really meant you had to get the tee shot in the fairway.

And it was a blast to watch.

But then the wind got to the point where they hit basically where the guys hit it yesterday.

They had some huge drives because it was really howling at that point in the round.

But it was still a true three-shotter.

And then 17 was really fun as a reachable shot.

par five.

And, uh, it was just the right thing kind of in the, in the mix of holes.

Uh, it would have been pretty boring as just from the back to you as just a, uh, old school three shotters.

So those were the holes that really stood out to me in just terms of, uh, cause as you know, the field, uh,

First two days, there's some really short-hitting, there's some very young players, and Shannon's setup erred on the side of making sure they tried to get them around with the tees.

She also, though, used some all-locations that are some of the hardest on the course, so I didn't quite understand that, but there were some tees that were way up, and so it distorted a little bit how those holes played, but...

all in all um it was a really great setup and uh just so fun to see some more dynamics brought back to the golf course that uh that are just just completely gone when the genesis comes yeah i that was kind of one of my big takeaways like seeing a lower trajectory shot in
