Right, so now on AI Having a Clue, we are going to be joined by a, I mean, someone who's got a really impressive, incredible CV from Silicon Valley to the heart of British innovation, AI futurist, entrepreneur and author Steve Brown is going to join us on the show now.

Steve's worked at the forefront of AI and emerging technology for more than 25 years.

Steve, hello, and thank you so much for joining us on AI Having a Clue.

We were chatting at the start of the show just about your incredible career, your incredible CV.

I mean, you have worked at some amazing, amazing places.

So I guess before we go any further, could you just tell us a little bit about the experiences that you've had in your working life and kind of how you've ended up where you are now as an AI futurist?

We were talking about DeepMind at the start of the show and how it's effectively the brains of Google and where Google's going next.

Why, Steve?

I mean, some might think it's an obvious question this, but why are they the most important company in the UK right now?

Come on!

Tell us about the sunny west coast of America where you are because obviously it's home to many of the biggest businesses and the leading minds when it comes to artificial intelligence.

What's it like working out?

Obviously you've got Silicon Valley over there and California as a hub for tech in general.
