So it's a combination of both sound imagining and then visual imagining in this space.
I think it was just basically this idea of if this was a box, like whatever, some kind of a two-by-two box or whatever, whatever this object would be, it's in this place, and they would kind of point to it.
It wasn't like, oh, it's a bicycle or it's a TV.
It was just the thing that has been put in the space is over there.
Yeah, apparently that's kind of what the brain is doing.
It's using both of those parts of the brain to sort of simulate or imagine what that three-dimensional space is.
The plasticity of it is that they can repurpose and be more accurate.
So you can actually train yourself to get better, but you'll never be as good as someone who's using more of their brain efficiently.
Which I thought was really cool.

Why do people do anything to it?
One of my favorite memories is from 2004 in the big East Coast blackout that we had.
Remember that was like that huge blackout that happened.

I was actually in the studio working with my friend and the lights went out and we were all in the dark and he was unaffected.
Because he's running up and down the stairs like he normally does during the day, doing all his regular stuff, opening doors.
We're all stumbling in the dark and like, oh right, this is his world.
This is his world.
It's this dark thing.
