You can imagine the excitement he generated when the goal went in.
They weren't.
They lost 4-1.
They scored too early, George.
Yeah, but it was brilliant.
I mean, it was absolutely sensational.
And then, of course, we had the situation where I was staying in a hotel near Baracus Airport, where I was staying, the BBC were staying.
And the hotel also had the Spanish team in it, which was a bit odd.
That was, you know, in the days when, in terms of Irish teams, we tabled with the team, we stayed with the team, all of that.
So the Spanish World Cup team was in our hotel playing the World Cup.
And then, of course, they left to go to Valencia to play Northern Ireland.
And I was keen to watch Valencia that night and to see how Northern Ireland would get on.
And the hotel had laid on in its conference room a big screen and it was like a cinema because it was all in darkness as everybody watched the match.
So I was going down to the match and I said to Frank McClintock, will you come down and watch it with me?
So Frank said, no, I'm not feeling great.
I'm just going to watch it in my room.
So I went down and I sat in this room full of Spaniards.
And of course, Gerry Armstrong scored the goal.
Matt Maldonahy got sent off.
It became very tense.
