That led to his first killing, of course, in Arizona.
Yes, that was the name, but he was born Henry McCarty, and in 1875, he was living in Silver City, New Mexico, and his mother had married
William Antrim on March 1st, 1873 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
And then they came to Silver City.
And in 1875, Billy was arrested in Silver City as an accessory to a robbery, put in jail.
He escaped from Silver City, went to Arizona to be with his stepfather, William Antrim.
And there in Arizona, he adopted the name from Henry McCarty.
to Henry Antrim, taking his stepfather's name.
Well, he begins with that accessory to a robbery, so a very mild thing.
He had a tendency to be a thief.
