I think yes, but it's important to be very careful for two reasons.

They're very, very smart, you know, very good at reverse engineering, very good at learning from, you know, other countries, right?

So Ireland would have to, you know, think through, okay, do we really want the Chinese to learn all our secrets, right?

Maybe not.

So that's the first thing.

So in Europe, in America, it's market logic when it comes to trade and economics.

In China, it's the political logic that dominates.

So this introduces risk.

So what if today Beijing is unhappy with Dublin?

What are we going to do about it?

I would definitely say that this is a time of turmoil, and therefore we are all trying to calibrate what's the best strategy in terms of dealing with the U.S.

But one thing that I want to highlight that I think is very important is that I think there is a fundamental shift in the

political coalition sustaining US foreign policy.

I think even when Trump is gone, a lot of his policies will probably still stick around.

For instance, I think even with a democratic president, in my opinion, I don't think the trade tariffs would necessarily come down.

The US wants to protect its industrial base.

Now this is a bipartisan consensus.

So this is a really good point.
