Yeah definitely and I play you know I hold the putts I need to hole and I played really steady that day and just had a great had a great week overall and I just I don't know I just feel so great playing that event yeah it's just something takes you back when I was 10 I used to practice like six footers and set and be like this to win yes to win the open yeah so

I know, yeah, she was a great player, very steady.

I think I realised it on the back nine for sure because some of the other girls behind us kind of faltered away and then it was just like, OK, I just need to beat her.

And it made it a lot more simpler in my head.

But there were some tough holes on the back nine, as everyone knows, and I was just really focused on hitting good shot after good shot and then seeing where I end up.

Yeah, and you're not always going to hit every shot perfect and you are going to hit bad shots throughout the round.

It was funny the first time I went up on 16 on 17 she then doubled it and it just made a three shot gap on the last so much more comfortable because if anyone plays with them they know that 18th is not a piece of cake.

Out bounds at the back.

Oh, definitely.

And I remember everyone standing up clapping and me just walking down there with my dad and knowing that I could like fall apart and still win.

I was like, okay, just get it close to the hole.

So, yeah.

Definitely, yeah.

It took me a couple of weeks to realise what I'd done afterwards.

But I'm not really that type of player.

I'm just very like,

keep everything level, whether I shoot a double or an eagle, just keep going, keep going.

And it does take a while for you to realise how big that week was.
