you've got to make money.

You know, it's great having, you know, unless you're in a position where you don't need to and you can fund losses.

I mean, I definitely wasn't in that position.

And we didn't raise very much money in sort of the lifetime of Sherlock's.

It's very easy to spend money.

And I think

instilling that cautious, frugal mindset into a business stands you in really good stead.

I think you've got to know that you've got to plan to make money and you've got to make money along the way and know at what point

you've got to make money by or raise by.

But I mean, raising money is incredibly time intensive, difficult, distracting.

We only did it twice and it wasn't too distracting because it was done very simply.

But, you know, going out to market to raise money is hard, is full on.

And you find some entrepreneurs just raising and re-raising and re-raising, which when you're also trying to drive a business is really hard.

So, you know, I think having a business where you know it will make money

is absolutely essential.

A good idea is one thing, then what's your revenue model?

And so I always wanted to start a wine box business.

Subscription, yes, eventually.

But ultimately, like smart wine boxes, cool wine boxes, like the candy kittens of wine boxes.
