You know, no fancy stuff at all.

Just pure, I suppose, human nature, you know, and that makes a huge difference to people.

Yeah, so I suppose one thing to say is that we've kind of gone away from calling them accidents because most road traffic collisions are caused, you know, be it that somebody has taken their eye off the road, touched a mobile phone, maybe speed is a factor, drink, drugs, you know, there's always, nearly always a factor involved in a road traffic collision.

And, you know, we're the people that need to be ready to respond to those incidents.

So when it does happen, you know, the person will often call, you know, 999 or 112.

That's the first port of call.

That call will be answered and you'll be asked for which service do you require?

And at that point, then, you know, it may go to us.

It may go to the Gardaí or the fire service.

And, you know, it could be the person who's injured is ringing it from sitting inside in their car.

which we would call a first party caller or it could be somebody who has witnessed it or come on it.

Or in some cases, if the call has gone to the Gardaí, they are passing it to us then.

So that's a third party caller.

Yeah, absolutely.

I mean,

Sometimes we get a call that tells us it's a huge, massive impact.

And when we get there, it's often, you know, not as bad as you would expect.
