Um, you know, and generally the players come out and their heads like popcorn.

They're there.

They've met so many people and you talk to the teams, they've met so many players, you know, it's, it's kind of funny, but it's a, it's a good experience for the players, but yeah, I've never been big on, I don't worry too much about where a player gets drafted.

That's a,

You know, I mean, it's important and you read, obviously we all read what's out there, what people, you know, what their rankings are, but really it's irrelevant.

At the end of the day, it's your edge, you know, you're, you're, you're the door in the national hockey league and you know, it, uh, you gotta, you gotta be good enough.

That's it.

And so, you know, really once the draft's over, it's over.

Well, you know, nowadays it's funny because the kids do so many interviews before they get to the combine, right?

So they're pretty sharp.

In the old days, you know, they'd fly players in and there wasn't as much communication.

But, you know, we really just try to get our players to be themselves and just to be honest and honest.

You know, there's no right answer or wrong answer generally when you're talking with these teams.

They just want to get a feel for what kind of person you are and what kind of kid you are.

So I've found, you know, over the years, just be yourself and relax and just answer the question.

And, you know, everybody's a little bit different, but that's the only way you can be as authentic.

Well, I actually didn't know that they made that.

They didn't make the change they originally planned because that was sort of a silly idea.

I think this new, the way they have it now is way better.

And the whole concept for these kids that can go to the NCAA is that there's really no rush to get anywhere.
