You know, but arbitration is also, I don't think going to arbitration is necessarily a good thing if you can avoid it.

That's sort of a failure of negotiation, I suppose.

But yeah, it provides a deadline and filing for ARB is fairly normal.

Arbitration rights are important.

But yeah, you're trying to get, you know, if you're going to ARB, that's not the best thing.

That's not really good for anybody.

Well, his case was really interesting because they actually qualified him, which is they had to QO him, as they say, to retain his rights.

And they qualified him on a two-way contract.

Very rare, just because of the number of games he's missed.

So, you know, we did that just to – we knew we were going to get a one-year deal.

And I think, you know, he would have had to clear waivers.

I don't think that would have happened.

But I think just to get a one-year deal and then be able to make our plan moving forward was the right move.

Yeah, I think Colton, you know, the biggest part for young players, too.

I think he I think it's a really good spot for him.

And he's really happy here.

And, you know, he's made really steady progress, you know, since he was drafted, frankly.

But I think moving from Chicago to Edmonton was a really good move for him.

So, yeah, you know, it buys us time to see what he can do on a really good team.

So I'm excited for Colton.
