So, I mean, it is a high-stakes poker game, and I think everybody understands there's pressure to win.

I think that you don't get to the NHL without having dealt with that all the way up.

And I think the process weeds out players who can't take it for different reasons.

Maybe it's talent, maybe it's whatever.

But I think when you get to the NHL, you expect...

that there's a lot to be expected and i think you expect to be pushed i think you expect there to be a certain amount of intensity and um you know i don't think any any of our pro guys um are going to be you know i think nothing but impressed i think when mike comes in and pushes them that's the whole part of the business yeah uh does it matter when you have experience on your coaching staff do you think

I've never had a problem placing players.

I think it's one of the greatest spots in the league to play.

And I think with Mike, I do think, I mean, people are thinking it's a risky move, but I have to tell you, Bob, like everything you do in professional sports has an element of risk to it.

I mean, if you're going into this business trying to not take risks, you're going to be in trouble.

So I think this is a, you know, if the Oilers do do this, I think it's a smart bet.

I think players are going to like playing for Mike.

I think Mike will be his best self, whatever that is.

He certainly went on a 28-year stretch coaching every year.

Most experienced coaches have breaks, right?

Joel Quenville, some of these guys, they get some time off.

I think this time off for Mike, not to speak for him, but I'm sure...

he's going to come in better than he ever has been with something to prove.

And I think that's always a good thing.

We're all trying to prove something in a competitive business.
