And so the way that all of this is manifesting through the face is really what I wanted to write about.

And there was a way where the face had kind of captured.
signifiers of other ethnicities have kind of borrowed this sense of, you know, of something other while always kind of resoundingly serving whiteness itself.
But I talked to a celebrity makeup artist who described it.
He said, you know, there's a South Asian influence with the brows and eye shape, an African-American influence with the lip, a Caucasian nose, a cheek structure that's predominantly Native American and Middle Eastern.
And that, you know, 10 years later has resulted in
When you ask AI to generate an image, let's say, of a beautiful woman, they are almost exclusively, yeah, white, thin, young, but they have those features.
And so there's this erasure of other forms of faces, certainly other forms of beauty.
There's this near total erasure.
Based on what the AI just scraping Instagram, scraping faces, scraping the kind of racial hierarchies and preferences that are built into every system in our country.
It's now AI thinks and will tell people this is what a normal woman is.
This is what a beautiful woman is.
You should sue them.
No, that's horrible.
