Don't get a, you know, don't get a full, just mini or Botox.
Basically...
If you are a young woman and you are interfacing with the internet, there is essentially no system that will tell you your face is good as it is.
And there's no end to the systems that will say, improve it, perfect it.
And there's something interesting happening where young people are getting Botox in their 20s.
Like there was, you know, a recent statistic, there was a 75% increase from 2019 to 2022 in
people under the age of 20 getting Botox and filler.
I think there were something like 50,000 injectable procedures performed in 2024 on people age 20 or younger.
You know, these are not massive numbers, but that's, you know, it's pretty wild to think about.
Yeah, there's nothing online right now that is telling people that what is human is good specifically for being human, right?
It's just the drive towards optimization that has encompassed and driven every tech industry, all of Silicon Valley for the past 20 years.
It's come to roost in our faces and bodies and souls.
I mean, it feels like...
It feels like what is happening.
I mean, the feeling that I had that made me start writing this, it was I was just like the face is kind of separating from the person and the person is separating from the soul.
And this is being systemically encouraged by kind of any single thing you'll find on the Internet.
I feel kind of a fondness for what's called Mar-a-Lago face.
Yeah?
Because it's almost quaint.
So Mar-a-Lago face is, if you have observed the faces of the women of the second Trump administration, this is Mar-a-Lago face.
