It's kind of like Instagram face.
It's as if kind of the Kardashian-esque beauty standard of 2016 has ported itself 10 years later to the seat of American power and added quite a lot of makeup to it.

It's what plastic surgery used to be, where it flaunts itself, where it kind of flaunts its lack of relationship to human reality, which I find kind of funny and I find almost quaint.
And it also, you know, there's a way in which it mirrors the actual political policy as of the Trump administration, where power is displayed in, you know, proudly disconnecting from reality altogether.
It's saying that what is given, what is human, doesn't matter.

You know, people that are very much against trans health care, gender-affirming medical care display a beauty look that is nothing if not gender-affirming.
It's fundamentally gender-affirming surgery like much plastic surgery is.
Literally, it's drag, which is why it's always been so funny to me to see Republicans be so against women.

Well, I think that there is – the trad wife thing, you know, there are some very kind of obvious built-in contradictions and paradoxes in it, right, where the women that are most famous as trad wives, they are not trad wives.
They are million-dollar business people, right?
They are entrepreneurs.
They make more money than their husbands.
You know, they're heads of enormous businesses.
And, you know, there's a similar kind of contradiction with the kind of Mar-a-Lago face territory where –
