So Charlie's Angels...
was Australia's first all-female security team, started up by an incredible woman named Karen Lidbury.
Karen was our Bosley.
Kaz was fantastic.
And so she just pitched us.
She pitched the Charlie's Angels team.
We wore these black suits and we'd be strutting around with Madonna mics at these events all
Or we'd be like on some door somewhere at two in the morning and then the car would pull up and out would jump Kaz slash Bosley with a thermos, go, angels, angels, you're doing a great job.
Anyone for a cup of tea?
It'd be like, it'd be freezing.
It's winter where we're absolutely outside in the cold, in the rain.
And then she pops up with a thermos and then go, okay, I'm off to the next one.
She was so fabulous.
And, yeah, Charlie's Angels became a bit of a thing in the late 90s, early noughties, and we got all these amazing gigs in all the A-list events, and I was usually front of house because I was the least capable in terms of any martial art.
I was actually...
not very capable at all, but I could brawl and I knew that.
But I was really good at spotting where the trouble would be, probably because I was so terrified about getting into a fight that I was like, okay, I need to spot this before it happens.
This is pure survival here.
And the angels were amazing negotiators and also, with the exception of me, incredible sort of physical skills as well.
So, yeah, the angels were a force.
