But we pay, we are a high tax state because our property taxes are so high.

And so I do believe the money is there to deliver the solid education that our kids need.

But the way I refer to it is we are all paying the Greg Abbott corruption tax.

And I mentioned the vendor contracts.

This governor is so out of control when it comes to corruption.

And by the way, just kind of also a big picture point, I think a lot of the terrible things

we see in D.C.

They're incubated here in Texas.

And I'll give you an example of one of them that ties into this corruption.

So there was an independent watchdog group, Public Citizen, that found and released a report about two or three months ago that found Greg Abbott's given almost a billion dollars in no-bid contracts to his donors.

And you can't even make this stuff up.

The largest of which is one called Gotham Corporation.

And so what he has done since 2020, he started with COVID.

He started signing an emergency executive order every month, waiving competitive bidding laws.

And that was right.

I mean, it was COVID.

We needed PPE.

We needed things fast.

But he just got fat and happy of that kind of power and continues it to this day.

And as a result, many of his friends are getting contracts.
