And it is their number one talking point.

His corruption is their number one talking point.

So I do think to your point, people think

they have a sense that government is corrupt.

But when we talk about Greg Abbott, it's just a new level of corruption.

And the way we tie it to people so that they care is we talk about you're paying the price.

You're paying the Greg Abbott corruption tax.

And let me, you know, and I can give you

Some examples of that.

So when it comes to, for instance, our electric bills in Texas.

In Texas, we spend about $40 more a month on electric bills since winter storm Uri hit in 2021.

Why did that happen?

That happened because at that time, we had gas companies holding the fuel that our grid needed while Texans were freezing, literally freezing in their homes.

I went without electricity for four days in my home.

Texans died in that winter storm.

The gas companies waited until the price was high enough that they could make billions in minutes.

Right now, that price that our utilities have to pay is being socialized.

Now we're all paying the price for that.

And that is an example of the Greg Abbott corruption tax, because Greg Abbott got a million dollar check after that legislative session that gave these gas companies a pass and passed the cost on to ratepayers and consumers.

So I'd like to see Abbott come after me as being from Austin as an attack because there's nobody who's more from Austin than Greg Abbott.
