So that's how I feel about a lot of people.
And John would be one of the first ones I would come across.
And when I said gravitas, I think a great lesson was he was respected because what I watched was he was respectful of people.
And that to me is a great lesson.
If you are respectful of others, you will be respected.
Oh, well, you've actually heard I think I've heard Jeff Bezos say this, too.
The ranking person should speak last.
Right.
And to let others always speak first.
Otherwise, you've sort of addicted what the answer is to something.
That's something to always remember, even if you have to sit on your hands not to talk.
But what I what I learned from him.
And again, I think this is a really interesting lesson for people because folks throw around the words values based leadership.
It's so easy to throw around, but what does it mean?
And that's what I learned from Pat.
And to me, values based leadership is, you know, watch what I do, not what I say.
And the most vivid example in my mind of that was when I was a young manager.
And I had a really star person working for me.
And some people came to me because but he had let's in these day and age, I'll call it misogynistic jokes.
They were horrible that he would say.
